12G SDI Dual Channel Electrical to Optical Signal Converter
EOD-4202 is a converter that transforms 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI electrical signals into optical signals. This module has the ability to transmit two digital video signals through fiber optic connections. It features automatic detection of input signals, performs two conversions on a single circuit board, and re-clocks the input signals.
Overview
EOD-4202 converter transforms 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI electrical signals into optical ones. This module can transmit two digital video signals via fiber optic connections. Samim 12G SDI over fiber converter features automatic detection of input signals, performs two conversions on a single circuit board, and re-clocks the input signals.
Users can employ different SFP modules, adjusting for various output powers and wavelengths according to the link length and receiver sensitivity. There are also two SDI outputs available as an active loop to facilitate monitoring or distribution.
A web-based user interface is accessible for monitoring, and LED indicators on the front of the module provide updates on its operational status.
