3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI Video Distribution Amplifier with Bypass Relay
SAMIM DVD-3214 is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI video distribution amplifier which can be operated as single or dual channels. It operates in two modes: 1 to 8 and dual 1 to 4. For the 1 to 8 mode, input one is connected to all eight outputs. For the dual 1 to 4 mode, input one is connected to the first four outputs, and input 2 is connected to the second four outputs. In the event of a power failure, the input signal is transferred to the output by a bypass relay. Re-clocker for jitter removal and equalizer for cable loss compensation are the main capabilities of the module
Overview
SAMIM DVD-3214 is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI video distribution amplifier operating as single-channel or dual-channel modules. Re-clocker for jitter removal and an equalizer for cable loss compensation are the main capabilities of the module. For reliability in the signal chain, in the case of power failure, one of the input signals is routed to the output line by bypass relay. This module is able to operate in two modes: 1 input to 8 outputs as the single mode; and two separated 1 input to 4 outputs as the dual mode. For the single mode, input one is connected to all eight outputs. For the dual mode, input one is connected to the first four outputs, and input 2 is connected to the second four outputs. In the dual mode, the change-over option is available. When the change-over is enabled, if one of the input signals is lost, the other input feeds its corresponding outputs.
All adjustments and controls can be applied directly by onboard DIP switches and a web-based user interface. LED indicators on the front edge, inform the user about the operational status of the module.
