Dual Channel Electrical to Optical Converter

EOD-3902 is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI electrical signals to optical signals converter. Themodule can transmit two digital video signals over fiber optic links and additionally provide two re-clocked electrical outputs per input. EOD-3902 performs automatic input signal detection, two conversions on a single board, and input signal re-clocking. Users can use different SFPs with various output powers and wavelengths related to the link length and receiver sensitivity.

The EOD-3902 features are input signal detection, loss compensation, input signal re-clocking and automatic changeover switching between two input signals. According to the link distance, SFP module with suitable output power and wavelength can be installed for this card. Each input has a bypass relay which is responsible for routing input signal to the output in case of a power failure. All adjustments and controls can be applied directly by onboard DIP switches and web interface remote control.
