  • SAMIM OED- 3904 is a converter of digital video signals on a fiber optic link to 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI electrical signals. This card can be used along with electrical to optical signal converter cards on the receiver side. The OED- 3904 features are input signal detection, two converters on one card, input fiber link detection, loss compensation, input re-clocking. According to link distance, it provides different SFP with various input sensitivity.

This module operates in two modes of 1 to 8 and 2 to 4. For the 1 to 8 mode, the input1 is converted to electrical signal and then is connected to all eight outputs and in the event of input loss, all the outputs would be disconnected. For the 2 to 4 mode, the input1 is connected to the first four outputs and the input2 is connected to the second four outputs. In this mode, “Change over” option is available. When the “Change over” is enabled, if one of the input signals is lost, its corresponding outputs are fed by the other input. All adjustments and controls can be applied directly by onboard DIP switches and web interface remote control.
