The SRM-0655 frame is a 3RU (19” rack) frame designed for SAMIM modular products that can house up to 15 modules with a single slot back panel or up to eight modules with a double slot back panel. The frame provides required power (from redundant AC/DC bricks), cooling, and control and monitoring for installed modules.
Overview
The SRM-0655 frame is a 3RU (19” rack) frame designed for SAMIM modular products that can house up to 15 modules with a single slot back panel or up to eight modules with a double slot back panel. The frame provides required power (from redundant AC/DC bricks), cooling, and control and monitoring for installed modules. By taking advantage of the internal buses and web-based user interface, the user can monitor, control, and upgrade the firmware of installed modules, view and export system logs, perform access control, check alarms, and monitor the proper function of power supplies and the fan module.
The frame structure enables the operator to install or change modules, power bricks, and the door with cooling fans easily and quickly. In cases where additional cooling is required, an additional 1RU fan unit is also available to order. Control and monitoring of the frame can be done through SNMP and web interface and also the front panel keypad and display.
