Project description:

In this project, the IRIB organization intended to upgrade the quality of TV channels from standard resolution (SD) to high resolution (HD). Of course, this quality upgrade has already been done for some channels, and in this project, television channels 1, 2 and 3 were supposed to be HD. In this regard, various projects should be carried out, one of these projects was the creation of a communication infrastructure in order to transmit the signal of the aforementioned channels with HD quality between certain points in the IRIB.

 

Project goals:

The objectives of the project included: Creating the possibility of contribution & distribution between certain points in IRIB organization with 3G-SDI and HD-SDI quality levels, which is considered a very important advantage in the field of content production at different quality levels, the possibility of broadcasting high-quality content by creating a suitable contribution & distribution platform, using the features of the HDTV platform in order to transmit audio and data with higher qualitative and quantitative levels, system and cable optimization related to the contribution & distribution of channels 1, 2, and 3 in the process of project implementation, which led to optimal operation and maintenance of the systems.
